1111

I always tell pple when u see 11-11 like on ur watch/handphone/clock as 11:11 or other places, it means someone is missing u.. Lol.. Dunno if its true but it makes u think of the pple that might really be thinking of u at that time.. Hee =)

But I've read somewhere that if u see 11-11 u shld make a wish and it might come true!!

Anyway.. Today is the 11th of Nov - 11/11/08 so i decided to do some research on this superstition of the mystical 11-11.

11:11 (numerology)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Numerologists believe that events linked to the time 11:11 appear more often than chance or coincidence.
This belief is related to the concept of synchronicity.
Other authors believe it is an auspicious sign, and others that it signals a spirit presence.

Although not an originator of the concept, Uri Geller has spoken repeatedly about 11:11, and the belief that it has mystical powers has also been adopted by many believers in New Age However, some skeptics say that Geller's examples of 11:11 phenomenon in world events are examples of post-hoc reasoning and confirmation bias. philosophies.

Some other interesting facts:

  • November 11 is the 315th day of the year (316th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 50 days remaining until the end of the year.
  • Twins Day (1987) in Taiwan: a festival for biological twins and other multiples. The eleventh day of the eleventh month (11-11) consists of the same numeral in pairs and symbolizes their characteristics.
  • Poland - Independence Day (1918)
Basically i think 11-11 doesn't really have any meaning to it.. Its just a number that alot of pple tend to see in their daily lives.. lol.. And some, well actually alot of ppl have studied its significance.. lol.. dunno wad they thinking..

Oh well.. I stil would like to believe that someone is thinking of you at that moment.. Makes one think and realise how blessed u are that you have someone that misses you.. =)
